This washer replaced another LG front loader I had for 15 years. Not much changed except for the Wi-Fi option which is not necessary and did not get. This washer throughly cleans clothes and should last as long as my last washer.

After much frustration I think I have gotten the idea of this machines functions. A lot of the instructions are on a strip in Black witch is very hard on the eyes. The manuel that came with the machine for a few other models also is very vague.. I had a service call and Dave was very helpful in explaining things to me so now I am liking the machine better.

Good Old Fashioned Customer Service

I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and courteous service I received when I requested a service call for my LG washer. The first technician actually fixed the problem. He then came back with a second technician to make sure the washer was not leaking and he had a part with him to fix the problem if there was still a leak. The leak was fixed on his first visit so the part was not needed. Both technicians were pleasant courteous and knowledgeable. Thank you so much

After only 59 days my brand new washer leaked all over my laundry room floor After calling LG support and doing a quick over the phone diagnosis I was told that I have to run 5 sets of tub cleaner through it. And that a sample of the tub cleaner would be mailed out to me. I never did receive any sample of the tub cleaner only samples of downy and tide.. I purchased 2 boxes of the recommended tub cleaner 5 packs per box the following day. Each cycle of the tub clean option runs for 93 minutes. It was a full 8 hour day just to run 5 sets of the cleaning cycle. I had the washer that this LG replaced for 15 years before I ever had any leak. Im very unhappy with my new LG washing machine. :

LG are scam artists and will say anything to make a sale. I explained my current dryer/washer set up clearly to two different representatives and was told that the free installation would be no problem both times. Come to find out they wont install the washer nor reimburse me the costs of a third party installation. Dealing with the fiasco has been a nightmare with LG. Poor communication wont resolve the issue. They dont care that I was told by two different people something that didnt apparently follow their policy. I will never order from them again and cant recommend them.

Ive had this product for 3.5 years just outside the warranty and its now leaking from the bottom front where the tube drain is located. Machine is undamaged. I opened the little door to ensure the tube stopper was tightly sealed and clean and I drain it every 6 months or so. Im very disappointed.

Our new washer is working out great good low water usage and soap usage and very quiet . My only disappointment was when I tried to register my new washer via your online web site the site could not recognize my serial number After several tries I called customer service. Customer service could not recognize the serial number and wanted photos I felt this was very time consuming and representative was not helpful I called store where I purchased washer and never received a call back needless to say Im disappointed with follow up and a little worried about assistance if a break down happens thank god I have a very good appliance repair man locally if you have a better way for me to register contact me

Replaced my previous washer with another front load washer. I am short and 14 years ago I bought my first front loader and never had to struggle to get to the bottom of the washer. Also I think there is NO twisted together clothing there are less wringles and easy to load in the dryer which is the same height.

It sucks After two weeks using my brand new LG washing machine the door keeps having an issue and locks up and the machine is unusable. Ive contacted LG MULTIPLE times the last three weeks and they have not resolved my problem even with the 90 day warranty plus I bought a 5 year additional warranty on the washer and dryer. I am very tired of having to wash my clothes in the bathtub or go to the laundromat

missing favorite function

I purchased this about a month ago to replace an older model. What I dont like is the function for adding more water to wash has been eliminated. I now must do smaller loads with the tiniest amount of detergent and add more rinses. Even with that the laundry does not seem as clean. This is not saving but costing me more not only in water power but also the wear and tear of additional lengthy cycles to the clothes.

Horrible washer and not built to last.

This washer has been giving us headaches from the start. Where to start: - It clogs up easily and it isnt easy to unclog without getting dirty water everywhere. - Many times a 40 minute cycle will take 2 hours or more because it has a difficult time trying to find the correct balance for spin. - A couple times it was so unbalanced that it rocked its way very loudly and almost off the platform it was on Very Dangerous - Finally but definitely not the least after only 4 years of use the ball bearings went out on it. It sounded like a jet engine in our whole house when it was on the spin cycle. It was no longer in Warranty so Id have to pay for parts an labor. The kicker? The part to fix it costs $840 That does not include labor and other parts needed. If I were to buy this unit brand new right now it would be $699. Why is the part more than the whole unit? I will never buy LG again. - It does not distribute the bleach evenly when doing whites.

Got rid of our old top loader and this washer makes me smile. The towels setting spins almost every drop of water out of the towel. Every setting does great. Easy to load and unload. Choose this model because of Consumer Reports review and price and performance are excellent.

Purchased this based on review and ratings available on Consumer Reports Digital Edition. Was one of the highest rated machines available and we definitely are not disappointed. Our old front loader was over 20 years old and due for replacement before it quit. Wife is very happy with the choice we made has all the features she wanted and does everything so efficiently. Machine is very quiet no vibrations and she adores the chimes it sounds when cycle is complete. You made an excellent product.

Disappointing

Not happy. Very difficult to learn the controls and what is possible I cant easily find any good directions. Surprised that the Normal load runs for 1.5 hours Unbelievable. The short wash seems too short at 15 minutes. Permanent press will be my go to I guess at around an hour. Used to doing loads about 30 minutes. Then no way to soak if I press pause it turns off after a seeming short time. I feel like my clothes wont last long with these long loads and all that agitation. Delicate load is about 45 minutes huh? Tried using the fast wash and got a hot rinse...? Still cant get used to the low water level. Dont put any powder soap on the drum it will cake and not dissolve. Very disappointed that Im married to this washer now. Need better directions for a better initial experience.

I researched this model on consumer reports and that is why I purchased it. I like the washer but I wish the delicate cycle was a little shorter and the speed wash was a little longer. As far as getting my wash clean it is perfect. So far i would recommend this to anyone.

This company STOLE my $951. I bought a washing machine 2 weeks ago from LG.com and cancelled it within 24 hours because the wrong model was ordered. I still have NOT received my refund and when I call email text I get NO answers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They will literally steal your money. The machine I bought less than a year ago BROKE after 6 months which is why I received a $951 store credit. That took 2 months and 3 service men to get my store credit in the first place. They STEAL and LIE. They are CROOKS I am hiring a lawyer.

We bought a new set of front load washer and dryer and matching pedestals. Our previous washer and dryer were also LG and they were still working well after ten years. We took advantage of a great sale offer and upgraded to the new machines . Tgey are working well as expected.
